It started about a week ago, and I am getting Random full screen pop up ads. My wife told me her galaxy s7 started doing it too about a week ago when she finally updated her apps . My advice is to put the phone in Safe Mode which disables your downloaded apps and leaves the stock ones working. I’m not sure how it even got installed, but a recent Verizon Droid update allowed it to start popping up full screen ads like crazy. If you turn off notifications and they still appear on your device, you may need to uninstall the app. Learn how in the App Troubleshooting tutorial, which also addresses how to remove an app. Those shits are not bothering me anymore, what I did was uninstalling few apps. One of the apps was a mp3 player, even if I had that app since I get the phone... Malwarebytes and Adguard didn't solve the problem so what I did was uninstalling apps that didn't come with the phone.

We'll see if those bloody ads will still bothering me. It sounds like your phone has been infected with malware. The first step is to delete all apps and cache to see if it can be removed easily. If you get apps only from Play store, you don’t need antivius or anti-malware apps. They may cause may damages because of permissions granted to them. For apps installed from Google Play store, there are more ways to sort them in the Play store app. But the installation date is not an option. I searched for that ES file the other person said it was but could not find it. I noticed a strange flashlight app that i don't recall downloading but i deleted it from my apps. Turned my phone off of safe mode and it seems to be running fine with no pop ups so far.
